Optimizing Metal Compression Efficiency in Large Indonesian Factories

Indonesia, as a major steel production and scrap recycling market in Southeast Asia, has seen a continuous increase in industrial scrap volumes, making metal compression efficiency a critical challenge. Traditional manual baling machines suffer from long cycle times, low bale density, and operational safety concerns, increasing transportation and storage costs.

The Y81QF-800-1 hydraulic scrap metal baler is designed for industrial-scale applications to address these challenges. Its main cylinder maximum thrust of 8000 kN can easily compress large volumes of scrap, ensuring the formation of high-density bales. Combined with a bale density of 2200–2600 kg/m³, it significantly improves scrap transport and storage efficiency.

To address operational efficiency, the machine has a single cycle time of only 110 seconds, with PLC automation and remote control to perform stable and efficient compression cycles, reducing manual intervention and minimizing operational risks. The hydraulic system pressure ≤25 MPa ensures long-term stable operation and consistent cycle performance.

For operational safety, the Y81QF-800-1 features door lock cylinder thrust 780 kN ×2, protecting operators during compression. Additionally, the total power of 148 kW and 6000 L oil tank capacity (hydraulic oil 5500 L) support long continuous operation, enhancing overall production stability.

Backed by parameter-driven performance and stability, the Y81QF-800-1 helps Indonesian industrial users improve metal recycling efficiency and promotes sustainable industrial waste management.
